Aerospike
120% INCREASED PERFORMANCE
TOP TPS COMPARED TO LEADING NVME DRIVES
ScaleFlux data path compression and decompression in the CSD 2000 greatly improves transactional performance and reduces latency.
We benchmarked the CSD 2000 vs industry leading NVMe drives with the Aerospike ACT 5.2 mixed workload test. The results were clear - the CSD 2000 is the leader in both speed and quality of service.
CSD 2000 consistently had the best latency profile as measured by the percent of transactions taking over 1ms to complete. As workload intensity increased, competing drives failed the test - either aborting early or exceeding the cutoff for percent of outliers - leaving the CSD 2000 standing alone in fulfilling the most demanding workloads.
Additional benefits of transparent data path compression/decompression:
- Deploys seamlessly - no app modifications required
- Reduces physical writes to the NAND, doubling Flash lifetime
- Minimizes Garbage Collection & die contention
DOUBLE YOUR FLASH CAPACITY
BEST OF BOTH WORLDS: +20% PERFORMANCE, +100% CAPACITY
The ScaleFlux CSD 2000 Series exceeds leading NVMe SSD competitor performance even when configured to be double their capacity - a true win-win scenario and clear TCO win. Because of data path compression and decompression, the CSD 2000’s 4TB physical drive can be set to up to 6.4TB usable space - instantly reducing total flash cost.
With Aerospike Certification Tool 5.2, the CSD 2000 simultaneously delivered 1.2x transactions per second and 2x usable capacity compared to a leading NVMe SSD -- at no extra cost!
98% LATENCY REDUCTION
BEST OF BOTH WORLDS: +20% PERFORMANCE, +100% CAPACITY
CSD 2000 consistently had the best latency profile as measured by the percent of transactions taking over 1ms to complete. ACT measures anything over 5% to be a test failure.
As workload intensity increased, competing drives failed the test - either aborting early or exceeding the cutoff for percent of outliers - leaving the CSD 2000 standing alone in fulfilling the most demanding workloads.
